Our Billing Policy
At Victor Family Dentistry, we are committed to providing the best dental care to all of our patients. We strive to make our treatments as affordable as possible, and to do so we have policies that we ask all patients to follow.
Our team recommends treatment plans based on your medical needs, not on what your dental insurance covers. We have your health in mind. Dental insurance is a benefit to help assist you with the cost. All charges you incur for your dental care are your responsibility regardless of how much of the treatment your insurance covers. As your dentist, our relationship is with you, not your insurance company.
We do our best to give you an estimated co-payment amount due based on our fee schedule. All insurance companies have varying treatment allowances, waiting periods, and fee schedules. Therefore, your financial responsibility may be beyond your insurance allowance. We are contracted and within the Excellus BC/BS network for most of their plans. We will also process payments to a majority of dental insurance companies. Once insurance processes, if there is a remaining amount due, a statement will be sent to you. Please submit the balance within 30 days. Collection action will be taken on any accounts over 60 days. We realize sometimes extreme cases arise that may affect your timely payment and if necessary, please contact us directly for assistance in handling this matter.
Our practice accepts cash, personal checks, Master Card, Visa, Discover, and American Express. Third-party financing is available through Care Credit upon approval. We will be happy to supply the information for this if you are interested.
Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.
Please bring your insurance information with you so that we can be as efficient as possible in your reimbursement.
